Improv Nation is your destination for improvised music. Here you will find improv in many forms- from Traditional Jazz to Free Jazz, various forms of Blues, Fusion, Electronic and Ambient music; as well as many forms of sonic exploration yet to be defined. If you are looking for anything other than traditional Rock, Pop & Country- you've come to the right place.
At I.N. we support a traditional radio music distribution model (yes- even on the Internet!) because it is the most equitable way, today, to support the musicians whose industry, and revenue, has been literally gutted by streaming music services. In our ecosystem- you don't have to pay for a subscription to listen- you only hear a few commercials every hour. In-turn, musicians benefit from the licensing fees we are required to pay to the performance rights organizations who distribute the funds through the traditional terrestrial publishing mechanism that has supported musicians for decades.
